I figure I probably shouldn't write this, as I might be "sued" for defamation of character, but it's so worth it, so here goes nothing.
We've all heard of the Youabian Puma, the abomination that Jalopnik called ugly and got a threat of legal action. It's a C70 roof-ed, C70 interior-ed, Enclave tail-ed, ugly-stick inspired menace. Well, I decided to check on their Facebook and came across something...interesting.
Here, we see the Youabian Puma page. 153 likes, 2 stars total. Pretty dismal. We scroll down to find......
A post about the colors it's offered in. And 3 people commenting 4 times. Notice how the comment marker says 5, showing 1 comment has been deleted. Probably someone calling it ugly.
Go further down and we see a video with 3 people commenting (5 in the marker, implying 2 deleted). Hmmmm, don't those names sound familiar?
And again.
Shall we see the page of these huge Youabian fans?
Empty! How strange! And only one thing he likes? The Youabian Puma.
And 1 review. I bet you can guess what it's of!
Friends? Ain't no body got time for that!
Person #2. Wow, what a quiet page. And, what's this! Only 1 like?
And no friends. Poor guy! It must be lonely at the top of the PR chain.
The final page: Exactly the same, with the addition of the LA times.
Strange, given that the LA Times called them out on this monstrosity. But don't worry, Dr Youabian! Those were !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , not mine! But somehow, the article was still positive as a whole.....
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The final tell? Not only "Youabian Puma" likes their own posts, but so do these mystery people on nearly every single one!!!
This is just sad. You have to create fake Facebook accounts to make your company look good?
Or, let me guess. Someone joined Facebook JUST to talk about the Youabian Puma.
Welp, I'm getting ready for the lawsuit....

Technically to be convicted of Defamation of Character and Libel, What you are saying must be UNTRUE. Truth is always a defense to Defamation and Libel.
Find me a jury of twelve people who wouldn't say that car is an ass ugly abortion, when Youabian himself can't even find three (real) people to comment on his car on Facebook.

Pro tip: you can't get sued for saying you think something is ugly, or that empty facebook profiles seem to be empty, or that you think the entire thing is sad. Source: me (lawyer). Carry on.

The thing is, it definitely HAS potential. If the entire front-end extended like a normal car, instead of trying to be like a Delta Wing (and failing) and the tires were smaller, it wouldn't be half bad. It still wouldn't be good, don't get me wrong. Also it's just too big. Downsize the mofo. It has an LS(2?), so it has the power.

I don't understand the hate for this car. Is it ugly? yep. Does that make it not awesome? No this thing is crazy. Now if it performs like the truck in this video,, then it sucks. Ok Doc, time to video this thing off road.

Well firstly we hate it because the owner/creator threatened to sue Jalopnik. 2ndly we hate it because it is probably the ugliest car ever built.
It has power, but it needs serious body work help.

Although I lack the bank account to acquire one, I hope this car succeeds. We need more batshit crazy people pushing the envelope with designs and features that make no sense. If they do it enough, eventually they'll find something that does.
